The game puts the player in a hunter’s role who has to engage himself in a battle of survival between humans and dinosaurs. Agent and Dinosaur are playable modes with distinct features and objectives.

In agent mode, the player can use weapons along with tactical equipment. The game has destructible weapons that include a handgun, a shotgun, a sniper rifle, an assault rifle, and a grenade launcher. Another interesting fact of Agent mode is that it Agent features both night-vision and thermal sensing goggles to slay down the giant monsters at night.

While playing in Dinosaur mode, the player finds no weapons. Rather, all the large creatures have to hunt humans using sharp jaws and lunges. Instead of thermal sensing goggles, the giant beast can activate a dino-vision ability letting them see the target through dark areas and highlights them.
